Since watermelon is a juicy fruit, eating watermelon helps prevent dehydration. Because it's rich in water content, it keeps the skin moist and also improves digestion.
Instead of drinking this delicious watermelon by itself, blending it with other fruits makes it even more flavorful. If our dear Foodie readers don't believe it, let's share the recipe so you can try it out yourselves.
Ingredients
- Watermelon 420 grams
- Yellow watermelon 95 grams
- Pineapple 40 grams
- Lemon 40 grams
- Blueberries 20 grams
- Milk 3 tablespoons
- A little water
- A few mint leaves
Step-by-step instructions
1. Scoop out the watermelon into ball shapes using a small spoon. Put the watermelon balls into a bowl, then put the remaining watermelon flesh into a blender, add a little water and milk, and blend.
2. Also scoop the yellow watermelon into ball shapes. Cut the pineapple into small cubes. Slice the lemon into small pieces.
3. Add the yellow watermelon, pineapple, blueberries, and lemon into the watermelon bowl.
Then pour the watermelon juice that was blended earlier into the bowl.
Now you can enjoy this delicious, cool watermelon juice. If you want it even colder, you can add a few extra ice cubes.
