Hello everyone! For fried chicken-loving Foodies, this time let's fry chicken wings with Coke soda to make them taste uniquely different, instead of frying them with wheat flour or other kinds of batter.

Ingredients

  • 6 chicken wings
  • 250 ml Coke
  • 1 lime
  • A small amount of ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • A small amount of salt and ground pepper

Step-by-step instructions

1. Put the chicken wings into a large bowl, then mix well with soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, salt, and ground pepper. For the ingredients to soak into the meat, you need to refrigerate it for about one night.

2. Grate the lime peel. Then, squeeze the juice from the lime. You should get about one and a half tablespoons of lime juice.

3. Slice the ginger into medium-sized pieces. Heat a pot, add oil, and sauté the ginger slices until fragrant.

4. Then, add the chicken wings into the pot and fry them.

Fry each side of the chicken wings for 2 minutes.

5. Once the chicken wings have turned golden brown, pour in 250 ml of Coke, along with the lime zest and lime juice, and continue frying. While frying, be careful not to let the oil overflow. Fry for about 15 minutes.

6. After 15 minutes, you'll have delicious, fragrant fried chicken wings. You can dip them in any sauce of your choice, and they taste amazing when paired with a cold drink as well.
