Hello everyone. We'd like to share a stir-fried vegetable recipe made with a variety of vegetables and chicken, for the cooking enthusiasts of MyFood Myanmar. We hope you'll all enjoy it.

Ingredients

  • 1 clove garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 8 oz chicken breast (thinly sliced)
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • A small amount of broccoli

  • A small amount of snow peas
  • A small amount of cabbage
  • 3 mushrooms
  • 1 carrot (peeled and thinly sliced)
  • 8 tablespoons water

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

Step-by-step instructions

1. Mix the chicken pieces thoroughly with baking soda, then let it sit for about 20 minutes. Once 20 minutes have passed, rinse the chicken pieces with water.

In a small bowl, combine water, cornstarch, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, and mix well.

2. Heat the wok and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic to release its aroma.

3. Add the chicken pieces and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Then add the broccoli, snow peas, cabbage, mushrooms, and carrot, and stir-fry until well combined.

4. Once the vegetables and chicken are cooked through, pour in the mixed sauce and stir-fry for about 2 minutes. Once the sauce has thickened, you can remove it from the heat.

And there you have it — a delicious stir-fried vegetable dish!
