Hello everyone! We're not sure how many fried glass noodle lovers there are among MyFood Myanmar's food enthusiasts. If you are one of them, you'll definitely want to study this method for frying pork slices with glass noodles that we're sharing today without missing a single step.
Ingredients
- 2 packs of glass noodles
- A bowlful of thinly sliced pork (about 225 grams)
- 2 tablespoons of thinly sliced leeks
- 2 tablespoons each of finely chopped garlic and ginger
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of chili oil
Step-by-step method
1. Soak the glass noodles in hot water for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, rinse them in cold water. Then drain them separately in a colander.
2. Heat the wok and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic, leeks, and ginger, and sauté for about 1 minute.
3. Once the garlic and ginger become fragrant, add the sliced pork and fry for about 2 minutes.
4. Next, add the dark soy sauce and chili oil, and stir well to mix evenly. Once done, add about 250 milliliters of water and let it come to a boil.
5. Once the water gradually starts to boil, add the glass noodles and stir-fry for about 3 minutes. Stir-fry until most of the water has dried up.
6. After tasting and adjusting the seasoning to your liking, you can take it off the stove. Just before serving, sprinkle some chopped leeks on top and enjoy it deliciously.
