Hello everyone! This time, the recipe I'd like to share is a Mushroom Sausage Egg Bake. It can be eaten as a main dish, and since it also has a cheesy flavor, it can be enjoyed as a snack too.
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- 3 sausages
- 113 grams cheese (sliced into small strips)
- 3 oz (75 grams) mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1/2 onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 tablespoon butter
Step-by-step instructions
1. Thinly slice the sausages and fry them in a pan for about 1 minute.
2. Add the onions and mushrooms to the pan and stir-fry evenly for about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, whisk the 6 eggs thoroughly in a bowl.
3. Add salt and pepper to the pan and taste for seasoning, keeping it slightly light on salt. Once the sausages are cooked and the onions have softened, pour the eggs into the pan.
4. Cook for about 1 minute until the eggs are set. Then sprinkle the cheese over the eggs.
5. Let it sit for about 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
Once the surface of the cheese-topped eggs turns golden brown, you can take it off the stove and it's ready to serve.
