On days off, when making snacks with the family, here's a recipe for onion rings that's quick and easy to make without much hassle.
You'll need large red onions for this. Cut 2 large red onions into about 2 centimeter thick slices. After slicing, separate them into small rings.
In a bowl, mix together 125 grams of all purpose flour, 42 grams of wheat flour, half a teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, a little paprika, and 4 pinches worth of green chili powder, then knead until well combined.
Add a little sparkling water and mix again. Make it thick as shown in the picture.
Put 220 grams of bread crumbs into a plate.
Dip the sliced onion rings into the batter mixed with sparkling water.
Then coat them in the bread crumbs plate.
Finally, deep fry them in a pot of oil.
Once fried, place them on a plate and enjoy with ketchup or a sour dip. Now you have delicious and easy-to-make onion rings.
