Hello everyone. This time, the dish I'd like to share is a beef and vegetable stew so delicious that you'll forget about your relatives.

Ingredients

  • Beef 2 lb (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • Potatoes 1 lb (peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • Carrots 2 (peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • Coriander/cilantro 2 stalks (cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • Onion 1 (thinly sliced) and garlic 3 cloves (peeled and crushed with a knife)

  • Tomato sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Vegetable oil 2 tablespoons, salt and ground pepper to taste
  • Beef stock 750 ml
  • Green peas half a bowl
  • Flour 3 tablespoons

Step-by-step instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 300°F. Rub the beef thoroughly with salt.

2. Heat a pot and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the beef and fry until it turns brown. Once done, transfer it to a plate.

3. Lower the heat of the pot, add the onions, and sauté for about 5 minutes. Then add the garlic and sauté for another minute.

4. Next, add the flour and stir for about a minute.

5. As the next step, slowly pour in the beef stock, stirring thoroughly. Then return the beef pieces to the pot. Add the tomato sauce. After that, let it cook until the broth comes to a boil.

6. Once the broth comes to a boil, cover the pot tightly and place it in the preheated oven for about one hour.

7. After one hour, add the potatoes, carrots, and coriander, cover the pot again, and return it to the oven for about 30 minutes.

8. Once the time is up and the potatoes have become tender, remove the pot from the oven and heat it on the stovetop uncovered for about 15 minutes. Once the broth has thickened, add the green peas. Add a little salt and ground pepper, then taste and adjust the seasoning.

And there you have it — a delicious beef and vegetable stew.
