Hello everyone! Let's make good use of our free time by cooking up some beef and tofu pancakes.
Ingredients
- 0.5 lb finely minced beef (or pork, or a mix of both can be used)
- 4 oz tofu
- 1 clove garlic (thinly sliced)
- 1 onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 stalk spring onion (thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced carrot
- 2 eggs and 1 egg yolk
- Half a teaspoon of soy sauce
- A little flour, salt, and black pepper powder
Step-by-step instructions
1. Put the beef, tofu, onion, garlic, carrot, 1 teaspoon of salt, soy sauce, black pepper powder, sesame oil, and 1 egg into a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly until well combined.
2. Shape the mixed ingredients into round balls, then coat them with flour. Beat the remaining 1 egg and the egg yolk together until well combined, then dip each meatball into the egg mixture.
3. Heat a pan, add oil, and fry the shaped meatballs. Fry each side for about one minute.
4. Once the meatballs have turned golden brown, remove them from the oil, let them cool slightly, and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.
