Hello everyone! This time, for those who love Chinese food, the recipe I'd like to share is Chinese-style fried pork ribs.
Ingredients
- 4 stalks spring onion (thinly sliced)
- 2 slices ginger
- 2 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
- A pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 500 grams pork ribs (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- A pinch of sesame seeds
Ingredients needed to make the sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
- Half a tablespoon chili oil
- 1 tablespoon cooking wine
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water
Step-by-step preparation method
1. Wash the pork ribs thoroughly with water, then soak them in clean water for about 10 minutes.
2. Put water in a pot, and once it's boiling, add the pork ribs and boil for about 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, rinse the pork ribs under running water, then replace the hot water with fresh, clean water.
3. Add the spring onion, a pinch of salt, and ginger slices into the pot, and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, check if the pork ribs are tender; once tender, remove the pork ribs and transfer them into a bowl.
4. In another small bowl, add the tomato sauce, light soy sauce, chili oil, cooking wine, cornstarch, and water, and mix well until smooth.
5. Heat a wok, add 3 tablespoons of oil, and once the oil is hot, add the ginger slices to infuse the oil. Once fragrant, remove the ginger slices.
6. Add the pork ribs and stir-fry until they turn brown.
7. Then pour the previously prepared sauce over the pork ribs and stir-fry evenly. Once the sauce thickens, turn off the heat and transfer to a serving plate.
Just before serving, sprinkle with spring onion and a bit of sesame seeds, and enjoy to your heart's content.
