For those who love baking cakes at home by themselves, this time I'd like to share how to make a pineapple cake.

Ingredients

  • Butter - 4 tablespoons (melted)
  • Brown sugar - 8 tablespoons
  • 7 rings of pineapple sliced into rounds and 10 cherries
  • Flour - 180 grams, salt - 1/4 teaspoon, baking powder - 1 teaspoon, and baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter - 4 tablespoons

  • Sugar - 12 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1
  • Vanilla - 1 teaspoon
  • Sour Cream - 4 tablespoons
  • Pineapple juice (or) milk - 4 tablespoons

Step-by-step instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease the cake pan with oil or butter.

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter together with the brown sugar until well combined.

2. In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together evenly.

3. Next, in a new bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, egg, vanilla, sour cream, and pineapple juice using an electric mixer.

4. Once done, add the flour mixture prepared earlier and mix again until it becomes creamy.

5. Next, pour the sugar syrup prepared in step (1) into the cake pan.

6. Place the pineapple rings on top of the sugar syrup.

7. Put the cherries into the center of the pineapple rings.

8. Then pour the cream mixture prepared in step (4) over the pineapple rings and smooth out the surface evenly.

9. Once done, bake it in the oven for 35 to 45 minutes.

When the set time is up, take it out of the oven. If you want the pineapple to be visible on the top surface, you'll need to flip the cake pan upside down. Let it cool for about 30 seconds.

And finally, you'll have a delicious pineapple cake ready to enjoy.
