Hello everyone! This time, I want to share how to make pork ribs soup infused with the flavors of corn and carrot.
Ingredients
- Pork ribs 300 grams
- Spring onion 1 stalk
- Ginger, 1 small piece
- Corn 1 cob (cut into 3 or 4 pieces)
- Carrot 1 (cut into small chunks)
- Water 3 to 4 liters
- A little salt
Step-by-step instructions
1. Cut the pork ribs into small pieces and place them in a pot. Add water until the ribs are submerged. Add the ginger and spring onion, then bring to a boil. Once it starts boiling, let it continue boiling for another 2 to 3 minutes. After that, wash the pork ribs thoroughly with water until clean.
2. Next, put the pork ribs, corn, and carrots into a pot. Add water and let it simmer for about 1 hour.
3. After one hour, check whether the pork is tender. If it's not tender enough yet, add a little more water and continue boiling.
Once the pork becomes tender, add a little salt and taste to adjust for a light, mild saltiness.
The flavor of this soup naturally gets its sweetness from the corn and carrot. Since the pork is also tender, you'll now have a bowl of nutritious, hearty soup ready to enjoy.
If you like spring onion or coriander, you can add them to the soup bowl right before serving.
