Hello everyone. For those who say a meal isn't satisfying without a bowl of soup, this time I want to share how to make Pork and Crab Meatball Soup.

Ingredients

  • 4 crabs
  • 1 kilogram pork (finely minced)
  • 7 pieces of Chinese mushroom (cut into squares)
  • 4 cloves garlic (finely minced and fried)
  • 3 stalks spring onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 egg
  • 1½ tablespoons clear fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon salt and 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • About 1 liter water
  • 0.5 liter water for cleaning pork ribs
  • 400 grams pork ribs
  • 1 head cabbage (cut into medium pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon oil for rolling the meatballs

Step-by-step Instructions

1. Boil the crabs for about 15 minutes. After that, take out the crab meat from the shells.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the beef, pork, mushroom, garlic, spring onion, egg, clear fish sauce, salt, and ground pepper, and knead well until evenly mixed.

3. Wash the pork ribs with water. Then boil them in 1 liter of water for about forty minutes until it comes to a boil. While the pork ribs are boiling, roll the earlier mixed meat mixture into balls using a little oil.

4. Once the pork rib broth is boiling well, remove the pork ribs and add in the meatballs. Let them simmer until the meatballs float to the surface of the water. Just before removing the soup pot from the stove, add the cabbage pieces.

And there you have it — a delicious Pork Rib and Crab Meatball Soup that the whole family can enjoy. Serve it with hot steamed rice and warm soup for a truly delicious meal.
