If you're tired of eating plain pork dishes, try cooking pork mixed with pineapple for something new and extra tasty. It's not difficult to make, so if you like pineapple, you should definitely give this a try.
Cut 2 viss of pork belly (or pork with skin and fat attached) into medium-sized pieces.
Add a little oil to the pot and fry the pork pieces. Once fried, remove them and set aside on a plate.
Using the oil remaining in the pot, slice and fry 2 onions. Add half a cup of coconut milk. Add 2 tablespoons of clear fish sauce, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of chili powder, then stir well.
Add the pork that was fried earlier. Add a little more water and let it simmer for a while.
Cut the pineapple into medium-sized pieces, enough to fill a bowl. Then add a little oil to the pot and fry the pineapple pieces.
Once the pork is tender, add the fried pineapple into the pork pot and stir well. Let it simmer for a while, and if you top it with some coriander leaves, the aroma will be even more fragrant.
Once everything is tender, transfer it to your serving plate and enjoy it with rice. There you have it — your pork and pineapple dish is ready.
