For those who love eating fried rice as breakfast, I'd like to share a simple and quick way to make pork fried rice.
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 1/4 of an onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 small carrot (cut into small cubes)
- 1 chili pepper (thinly sliced)
- Dried pork leg (or) a small amount of pork (cut into small cubes)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon chicken seasoning powder
- 2 full bowls of rice
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Heat a pot/pan and add 1 teaspoon of oil. Then add the beaten eggs and scramble-fry them.
Transfer the scrambled eggs onto a plate.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of oil into the pot, then add the onion, carrot, chili pepper, and dried pork leg, and fry until soft.
Then sprinkle in the salt and chicken seasoning powder and fry until well mixed.
3. Then add the rice and fry until well mixed. Once done, add the scrambled eggs from earlier and fry again until well combined.
4. Lower the heat, then add the fish sauce and stir until well mixed.
After tasting to check the seasoning is just right, you'll have a delicious plate of pork fried rice ready to enjoy.
