For those who say rice tastes better with a bowl of warm, hot soup, this time we'd like to share a recipe for pork rib and carrot soup.
Ingredients
• Pork ribs - 0.5 viss
• Carrot - 1 viss (cut into large chunks)
• Ginger - 3 slices
• Chinese vinegar - half a teaspoon, and a little white pepper powder
• Spring onion - 2 stalks (thinly sliced)
Step-by-step method
1. Cut the pork ribs into medium-sized pieces. Pour cold water into a pot, add the pork rib pieces, and bring to a boil. Once the ribs have softened, remove them from the pot and rinse them again with water.
2. In another pot, add the pork ribs, carrot, ginger, and about 1 liter of water, then boil on high heat with the lid off for about 35 minutes.
3. After that, add the Chinese vinegar, salt, and white pepper powder, then taste and adjust to a light saltiness.
Once it has simmered for another 5 minutes or so, turn off the heat.
Right before eating, transfer it into a soup bowl, add the spring onions, and enjoy it deliciously.
If you pair pork rib and carrot soup with rice, you'll enjoy your meal even more than before.
