Hello everyone! For those who love potatoes, this time I'd like to share how to make fried potato cutlets with soft-boiled egg. The egg in this dish is not prepared as an ordinary boiled egg, but rather boiled in the style of a half-fried egg.
Ingredients
- Cheese 50 grams
- 2 eggs
- Bacon 75 grams (sliced thinly)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Flour 25 grams
- Potatoes 500 grams (peeled and cut into small chunks)
- 2 stalks spring onion (sliced thinly)
Step-by-step instructions
1. Put the potato chunks into salted water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for another 10 minutes or so.
Then, drain the potatoes into a large bowl and mash them with a spoon until smooth.
2. Next, add the bacon, cheese, and flour into the potato bowl and knead until well combined. Once done, shape the potato mixture into balls using your palms.
3. As the next step, heat up a pan and add oil. Once the oil is hot, fry the potato balls for about 5 minutes. Then flip to the other side and fry further until golden brown.

4. To soft-boil the egg, first heat a pan and add salted water. Add vinegar and bring to a boil over low heat. Once boiling, crack the egg into the water and boil for about 3 to 4 minutes. Then remove the soft-boiled egg using a slotted spoon.
5. Arrange two potato cutlets on a plate. Place one egg on top of the potatoes, garnish with lettuce (or any vegetable of your choice), and enjoy it deliciously.
