Hello everyone! For those who love fried spring rolls, this time I want to share a healthy pork spring roll recipe that's fried with just a little oil.
Ingredients
- About 2 viss of pork
- About 15 ready-made spring roll wrappers
- 3 stalks of spring onion (thinly sliced), 1 onion and 3 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)
- About 2 slices of ginger
- A little coriander, cabbage, and watercress
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of clear soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of ground black pepper
- 250 milliliters of water and 3 tablespoons of cooking oil
Step-by-step preparation
1. Thinly slice the coriander, onion, ginger, spring onion, garlic, cabbage, and watercress.
2. After mincing the pork finely, mix in all the vegetables that were sliced earlier. Crack in the egg. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, and ground black pepper, and mix thoroughly until well combined.
3. Place the resulting filling into the ready-made spring roll wrappers and wrap them tightly so no air gets in.
4. Heat a pot and add oil. Once the oil is hot, put in the wrapped spring rolls and fry for about two minutes.
5. Add about 125 milliliters of water into the pot, cover with a lid, and let it simmer for about four minutes. When the time is up, add in the remaining half of the water, cover again, and simmer for another four minutes.
6. Add 2 more tablespoons of oil and fry for another 2 to 3 minutes.
7. After that, transfer onto a plate, let it cool, and enjoy its delicious taste.
