Hello everyone. I'd like to share with MyFood Myanmar's food lovers how to boil soy sauce marinated eggs so they taste delicious when paired with boiled noodles.
Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- 6 tablespoons Japanese sake (or 6 tablespoons white wine)
- 20 tablespoons water
Step-by-step instructions
1. First, boil the eggs until they are soft-boiled (not fully cooked). Put 8 eggs into a pot, add a little water, and boil for about 6 to 8 minutes.
As soon as they're boiled, immediately place them into ice water to cool. This will make peeling the shells much easier. Once they've cooled down, you can peel off the shells.
2. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, Japanese sake (or white wine), and water, and mix well until evenly blended. Pour this soy sauce mixture into a container.
3. Next, place the boiled eggs into that container. To prevent the eggs from floating above the liquid, press them down with a lid or something similar.
4. After that, place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, up to overnight. The longer you let it marinate, the better the flavor will be.
Now you have delicious savory marinated eggs that can be paired with boiled noodles.
