Hello everyone! This time, the recipe I'd like to share is a cooking method for fried chicken with a salty and spicy flavor.
Ingredients
- Chicken 450 grams (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- Corn flour 128 grams
- Vegetable oil 60 milliliters
- 1 bunch of coriander leaves (thinly sliced)
- Garlic 3 cloves (thinly sliced)
- Thinly sliced ginger 2 teaspoons
- Brown sugar 3 teaspoons and salt 1 1/2 teaspoons
- Chili powder 2 teaspoons
Step-by-step instructions
1. In a large bowl, add the chicken, 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, 2 teaspoons of brown sugar, and half a teaspoon of salt, then mix well by hand. After that, let it marinate for at least about 30 minutes (or overnight).
2. In a small bowl, add 2 teaspoons of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt, then mix well. (You can also add a little MSG if you like.)
3. Add the beaten egg to the bowl of chicken and mix well. Then add the corn flour and mix again until it's well coated.
4. Heat a pan and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces and fry for about 3 minutes. Flip to the other side and fry for another 3 minutes. Once the chicken pieces have turned golden brown, remove and place them into a dish.
5. Add the coriander leaves to the pan and fry for about 30 seconds. Then remove them onto a plate. Mix the fried chicken with about half of the seasoning powder prepared in step (2). Then add the coriander leaves and mix well again.
And there you have it — a fragrant and flavorful fried chicken dish!
