Let's make soft and silky steamed eggs that are delicious to eat.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 300 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • Half a teaspoon of sesame oil
  • A little salt and thinly sliced spring onion

Method

Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add salt and mix well.

While adding slightly warm water (not hot water), keep whisking the eggs continuously.

Strain the whisked egg mixture through a sieve into a bowl. If there are any bubbles on the surface, gently scoop them out with a spoon.

Cover the top of the bowl with plastic wrap and let it sit for about 5 minutes - this will also help the small bubbles gradually disappear.

Then, add water to a pot, place the egg bowl on top, and steam over high heat for about 10-15 minutes.

Once the eggs are nicely steamed, sprinkle the chopped spring onion on top.
