Hello everyone! I'd like to share a recipe for a nutritious seafood pancake for those who want a filling snack in the afternoon.
Ingredients
- Seafood such as fish fillet, shrimp, scallop/clam - 250 grams
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Spring onions - 2 stalks, chili peppers - about 3 (thinly sliced)
- 1 egg (beaten)
- Corn starch/flour and a little ice water
Step-by-step instructions
1. Wash the seafood thoroughly with plenty of water, then cut into medium-sized pieces. Cut the spring onions in half lengthwise. Then, marinate the seafood with sesame oil.
2. Mix the flour with a little ice water until well combined and smooth. Then add the seafood and mix again until well combined.
3. Heat a frying pan and add 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil. When the oil is hot, pour in the seafood batter. Add the spring onions and press down with a spoon. Then add the chili peppers. Pour the beaten egg over the top.
4. After about 3 to 4 minutes, flip the pancake over to the other side. You can add more oil if needed.
After another 2 to 3 minutes, your delicious seafood pancake is ready.
