  • About 4 oz of large sea fish (or any fish of your choice)
  • 8 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 8 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced ginger

  • 3 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • About 8 tablespoons thinly sliced spring onion
  • A little sesame seeds

Step-by-step instructions

1. In a bowl, mix together the fish sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and spring onion until well combined. (Use only half of the spring onion for this mixture)

2. Place the fish fillet into a sealable bag, then pour the prepared mixture into the bag. Seal the bag tightly so no air gets in, and make sure the mixture coats the fish fillet thoroughly.

3. Then, place it in the refrigerator for 2 to 4 hours.

4. Preheat the pan for about 5 minutes.

5. Once the time is up, take the fish out of the refrigerator and sprinkle sesame seeds over it.

6. Place the fish fillet into the pan and grill it over low heat for about 7 to 8 minutes.

7. Once the fish is cooked, pour the remaining marinade left in the bag into the pan. When the sauce starts to boil, you can turn off the heat.

And there you have it - a delicious grilled sea fish that you can enjoy with rice.
