When it comes to shrimp, people usually cook it with a bit of sweetness as always. This time, let's try stir-frying shrimp with water spinach stems and making it deliciously spicy. The cooking method is also very easy. For those who love water spinach stems and those who love shrimp, this is a must-try dish.

First, put 2 tablespoons of oil into a pot, add 15 kyat-tha (about 240g) of shrimp, half a teaspoon of salt, and half a teaspoon of chili powder, then stir-fry. Once the shrimp changes color and turns red, scoop it out and set it aside.

In the same pot, add another 2 tablespoons of oil. Trim off and discard the bottom portions of 2 bundles of water spinach stems. Then cut the water spinach stems into 3 or 4 pieces each and add them to the pot to stir-fry.

Add 1 teaspoon of chopped garlic, 1 teaspoon of chopped ginger, and half a teaspoon of salt, then stir-fry well.

Once the water spinach stems become soft, add the shrimp that was fried earlier. Add 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, and if you like a bit of sourness, squeeze in 2 tablespoons worth of lime juice.

Stir well until evenly mixed, and after a short while, scoop it onto a plate. You can eat it together with rice, or even eat it as is since it's sour and spicy, which is definitely delicious and satisfying.
