Hello everyone. For hot pot lovers, I'd like to share a recipe for Japanese-style thin sliced beef hot pot that you can easily make at home.
Ingredients
- Beef - 0.5 viss
- Enoki mushrooms
- Tofu, one piece (sliced about half an inch thick)
- Carrot, one (peeled and thinly sliced)
- Watercress leaves
- Sake - 4 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 4 tablespoons
- Water - 4 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Step-by-step instructions
1. Heat a pot and add the sake, soy sauce, water, and sugar, then bring to a boil. Once it's boiling, pour it into a bowl and set aside.
2. Slice the beef as thinly as possible into thin layers.
3. Wash the enoki mushrooms thoroughly with water, then cut off the roots.
4. Also prepare the tofu and carrot by slicing them, and wash the watercress leaves thoroughly with water.
5. Next, arrange the enoki mushrooms, carrot, tofu, and beef in rows in the pot. Then pour the liquid prepared in step (1) into the pot, cover with a lid, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
6. Once it starts boiling, lower the heat to the minimum and continue cooking uncovered for about 15 minutes. This will ensure that the vegetables and meat are fully cooked.
Once the ingredients become tender, remove from the stove and transfer to a bowl, then enjoy it deliciously.
