  • About 4 packs of dried noodles
  • Spinach (or) watercress, or any vegetable of your choice
  • 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger
  • 2 stalks spring onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Step-by-step instructions

1. After cutting the beef into medium-sized chunks, put it into boiling water. This way, you can cleanse the beef thoroughly. After a few minutes, pour out the hot water.

2. Heat another pot, add oil, and once the oil is hot, add garlic and chili oil, then stir-fry until fragrant. After that, add 1500 milliliters of hot water into the pot, cover with a lid, and wait about 5 minutes until it comes to a boil.

3. After that, strain and pour the beef that was set aside earlier into the pot. Add ginger, spring onion, salt, and pepper powder, then let it simmer for about one to one and a half hours. Once the time is up, remove the ginger piece and spring onion.

4. In another clean pot, add the noodles with plenty of water and boil them. Once the noodles are cooked, add the spinach (or) watercress into the same pot and boil for a few more seconds. Once the vegetables are cooked, rinse them briefly with cold water.

5. Next, arrange the noodles and vegetables neatly in the bowl you'll be eating from. Pour the beef broth into the bowl, then arrange the beef pieces neatly on top of the noodles.

Add a bit of cilantro and enjoy the delicious taste.
