Hello everyone! This time, I'd like to share a recipe for making spicy shrimp rolls for those who love good food.
Ingredients
- 12 shrimp
- 6 sheets of wheat wrapper (spring roll wrapper)
- 1 tablespoon of flour mixed with a little water
- A small amount of oil
For marinating the shrimp
- 3 tablespoons of chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- Half a tablespoon of vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of sesame oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- Half a lime
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- A little salt and black pepper powder
Step-by-step instructions
In a large deep plate, put the chili sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil, then mix well. Peel the garlic and grate it directly into the same bowl.
Next, squeeze in the juice of half a lime, add a little salt and black pepper powder, and mix thoroughly. Add the sugar last and mix it in. Once the marinade is well combined, add the shrimp that have been thoroughly washed and marinate them in it. To let the marinade soak into the shrimp, place them in the refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes.
Once the time is up, cut the 6 wheat wrapper sheets in half and roll up the shrimp one by one as shown step by step.
Once you have rolled them securely, dip each shrimp roll one by one into the flour-water paste to seal. After that, fry the shrimp rolls in hot oil for about 3 to 5 minutes. Once fried, place the shrimp rolls on an oil-absorbing paper to remove the excess oil.
Once they have cooled down, you can enjoy the spicy fried shrimp rolls deliciously with tomato sauce or chili sauce.
