Almost everyone loves fried potato wedges. Let me share how to make tasty spicy fried potato wedges that give you the same feeling as eating them at a restaurant.

Wash 4 large potatoes, peel off the skin, and cut them into thin strips about 1 centimeter thick.

Once all are cut, put water in a bowl and soak the potato strips for 15 minutes.

When the time is up, rinse the potatoes with water two more times. After rinsing, wipe the potatoes dry with a clean cloth and place them into the frying basket. For this frying method, you'll need a frying basket to put the potatoes in.

Pour plenty of oil into a deep pot. Once the oil is slightly bubbling, lower the basket with the potatoes into the pot of oil. Fry for 8 minutes. While frying, shake the basket gently by hand. When the time is up, drain the oil, remove the basket, and spread the fried potatoes out into a tray.

To make the spicy seasoning, put 3 whole dried chilies, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of onion powder into a mortar and pound them together. Pound until it turns into a fine powder, and it's ready.

Put the oil pot back on heat and return the previously fried potatoes into the basket. Then lower the basket back into the oil pot and fry again. Once the fried potatoes change color slightly, drain the oil and put them into a bowl. Right after that, add the pounded chili powder from earlier and mix evenly.

Once everything is done, transfer to your serving plate and it's ready to eat. Now you've got spicy fried potato wedges just like the ones fried at the shop.
