Hello everyone! Instead of eating ready-made grilled shrimp, wouldn't you like to try making this nutritious and super delicious spicy grilled shrimp yourself?
If you have the time, let's try making this together with family members on a holiday and enjoy it happily, shall we?
Ingredients
• About 1 pound of large shrimp
• A little salt and ground pepper
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon thinly sliced garlic
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon sugar (or honey)
• 2 tablespoons chili paste
• 1 stalk spring onion (thinly sliced)
• A few skewer sticks for grilling the shrimp
Step-by-step Instructions
1. While peeling the shrimp and rinsing them, soak the bamboo skewers in water.
Thread about 3 to 4 shrimp onto each bamboo skewer, then sprinkle with salt and ground pepper.
2. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, chili paste, and sugar (or honey), and mix well.
3. Then, evenly coat the shrimp with the prepared chili paste mixture. Let it sit for about 30 minutes so the flavor can soak into the meat.
4. Once the 30 minutes are up, prepare your grill. Lightly brush the grill with a little oil. Then you can place the shrimp on and grill them.
Grill each side of the shrimp for about 1 to 2 minutes. Then flip to the other side and grill for another 1 to 2 minutes. Once the shrimp have curled up, you can take them off the heat.
Transfer the grilled shrimp to a plate, add the sliced spring onion, and you can enjoy this delicious dish.
Whether you eat it on its own or pair it with rice, it will taste great and be a filling, nutritious meal.
