We're happy to share with MyFood Myanmar's food lovers the recipe for Tofu and Broccoli Spicy Stir-fry, which is mainly made with fried tofu, broccoli, and chili peppers.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of tofu
  • 2 tablespoons of corn flour
  • Olive oil and salt
  • 1 head of broccoli (cut into medium-sized pieces)
  • 2 red chili peppers (sliced thinly lengthwise)

  • A small amount of rice

Ingredients needed for making the peanut sauce

  • 4 tablespoons of peanut butter
  • 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of chili paste

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (or honey)
  • A small amount of ginger and garlic

Step-by-step instructions

1. Cut the tofu into small square pieces. Spread the broccoli on one baking tray and sprinkle with salt and oil. On another baking tray, place the thinly sliced chili peppers and sprinkle with olive oil and salt.

Then place both trays into an oven preheated to 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 to 30 minutes.

2. Coat the tofu pieces evenly with corn flour, then place them on a baking tray and sprinkle with olive oil and salt. Then put them into the oven for about 20 to 30 minutes.

3. In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients needed for the peanut sauce and mix thoroughly.

4. Once the set time has elapsed, put rice into a bowl and then arrange some tofu, some broccoli, and some chili peppers on top of the rice. Then drizzle some peanut sauce over the dish.

And there you have it — a delicious Tofu and Broccoli Spicy Stir-fry dish!
