Hello everyone! This time, I'd like to share how to make spicy fried tuna fish balls, which can be enjoyed as a snack or served as a side dish with rice.

Ingredients

Source : Yellowfintunafactory.com

  • Canned tuna fish - 2 cans
  • Chili pepper - 1 piece
  • Garlic - 3 cloves
  • Thinly sliced ginger - about 1/4 to 1 teaspoon
  • A small amount of coriander leaves

  • Duck eggs (or chicken eggs) - 2
  • Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili oil - 1 teaspoon (optional, can be omitted)
  • Oil for frying - 2 tablespoons

Step-by-step Instructions

Pour both cans of tuna into a large bowl.

Thinly slice the chili pepper and add it into the bowl with the tuna.

Thinly slice the garlic and ginger as well, and add them into the bowl.

Thinly slice the spring onions and coriander leaves, and add them in as well.

Add about half a teaspoon of fish sauce first and mix everything together evenly. Then taste for seasoning, and only if needed, add the remaining half teaspoon of fish sauce.

Add one teaspoon of chili oil and mix well again.

Beat the 2 chicken eggs (or duck eggs) and pour them into the tuna mixture, then mix thoroughly and evenly.

Next, shape the mixture into balls of a moderate size - not too thick and not too thin.

Heat a pot and add oil, waiting until the oil is hot enough. Then add the fish balls and fry each side for about 4 to 5 minutes.

Once both sides are fried, place them on a plate and enjoy this delicious dish.
