Hello everyone! This time, the dish I'd like to share is a recipe for braised pork ribs that are soft, tender, and delicious to eat.
Ingredients
- Pork ribs 1 viss (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- Scallion/leek 1 stalk (thinly sliced)
- Chili peppers 2 pieces
- Fermented soybean paste 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil 1 tablespoon
- Cooking wine 1 tablespoon
- Finely minced ginger 2 tablespoons
- Garlic 3 cloves (finely minced)
- Cornstarch 1 tablespoon
- Sugar 2 teaspoons and a pinch of salt
Step-by-step instructions
1. In a small bowl, combine the vegetable oil, cooking wine, soybean paste, ginger, garlic, cornstarch, salt, and sugar, and mix well until combined.
2. Place the pork rib pieces into a large bowl and rub them thoroughly with the marinade prepared earlier. Then, let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, up to overnight.
3. Once the marinating time is up, put the pork ribs into a steamer pot and steam for about 15 to 20 minutes.
After 15 or 20 minutes, check whether the ribs have become tender. If not yet tender, you can continue steaming for an additional 5 minutes or so.
4. Just before serving, sprinkle on the sliced scallions and enjoy deliciously with rice.
