• Dried shrimp 1 tablespoon
• Vinegar half a tablespoon
• Garlic 2 cloves
• Chili peppers 2 pieces (thinly sliced)

Step-by-step method

1. Place the tofu directly on a plate and cut it into 2 centimeter thick slices. (If you cut the tofu first and then transfer it to the plate, the tofu's shape may get damaged)

2. After slicing the tofu on the plate, leave it as is for about 2 minutes. Then, slowly drain the water from the plate.

3. Prepare the steamer and steam the plate of tofu in the steamer for about 6 to 8 minutes. Once the time is up, remove the plate of tofu from the steamer and slowly drain the water from the plate.

4. Heat a pan, add sesame oil, and once the oil is hot, add the garlic and shallots and sauté until fragrant. Then add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, dried shrimp, coriander, chili peppers, salt, sugar, and vinegar, and stir well until evenly mixed.

5. Pour the resulting warm sour sauce over the tofu.

Now you've got a delicious steamed tofu dish. Enjoy it to your heart's content.
