Hello everyone. This time, instead of regular fried rice, I'd like to share a recipe for sticky rice fried rice. We'll be frying it together with pork sausage.
Ingredients
- Sticky rice, for 2 servings
- Oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce, 1 and a half tablespoons, plus fish sauce sediment, 2 teaspoons
- Sesame oil, 1/4 teaspoon
- Chicken stock, 60 milliliters
- Pork sausage, 3 pieces (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- Oil, 2 tablespoons
- Dried shrimp, a small amount (soak in hot water for about 15 minutes)
- Shallots, garlic, and spring onions, a small amount each
- Salt and ground pepper, a small amount
Step-by-step preparation method
1. Mix the oyster sauce, fish sauce, fish sauce sediment, sesame oil, chicken stock, and salt together in a bowl. Heat the pan, add oil, add the dried shrimp, and stir for about 3 seconds. Add the shallots and pork sausage, and fry for about one minute.
2. Add the sticky rice and stir-fry until well mixed. Then add about half of the oyster sauce mixture prepared earlier and stir. Keep stirring continuously so the sticky rice doesn't clump and doesn't stick to the pan. Once done, add the remaining half of the oyster sauce mixture and taste for mild saltiness.
3. Once the mild saltiness is exactly right, turn off the heat, add the spring onions, and stir briefly.
Finally, transfer the resulting sticky rice fried rice with pork sausage onto a plate, and it's ready to enjoy deliciously.
