Hello MyFood Myanmar readers… It seems like staying at home has been getting a bit boring, hasn't it?

To ease the boredom, let's also enjoy some delicious food. This time, we'd like to share with you a recipe for Seafood Fried Noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet of noodles
  • 2 slices of ginger (thinly sliced lengthwise)
  • 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped) and half an onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/8 of a cabbage (thinly sliced)
  • Half a carrot (sliced lengthwise)

  • 10 prawns
  • 2 stalks of spring onion (cut into half-inch lengths)
  • 4 tablespoons of sesame oil and a little sesame seeds

Seasonings

  • 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of clear fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of cooking wine
  • 1 teaspoon of dark fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce

Step-by-step instructions

1. Pour water into a pot and bring it to a rolling boil. Once it's boiling, add the noodles and boil for about 2 to 3 minutes. Then, put them into ice water, let them cool, and transfer them into a bowl.

2. Heat a wok and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the ginger and garlic, and stir-fry until fragrant. Then add the onion and stir-fry for another minute.

3. Next, add the cabbage and carrot, and stir-fry for about a minute.

4. Add the prawns and spring onion, and fry for about 1 to 2 minutes.

5. Then add the noodles, followed by all the seasoning ingredients, and continue stir-frying for about 2 to 3 minutes.

After tasting it to check the seasoning, your delicious plate of seafood fried noodles is ready. If you like sesame, sprinkle some on just before eating for an extra delicious taste.
