We usually eat vegetables for three main purposes: to prevent various diseases, to keep our skin beautiful, and to ensure a balanced diet when eating with rice.

What about you, dear readers? For what purposes do you usually eat vegetables?

For those who don't eat vegetables much, this time I'd like to share a recipe for stir-fried sweet potato leaves mixed with fermented bean patty (pal pal).

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of sweet potato leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 4 slices of ginger (thinly sliced lengthwise)
  • 5 dried chilies
  • 4 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)

  • 2 pieces of fermented bean patty (pal pal)
  • 1/8 teaspoon of sugar and half a teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking wine

Step-by-step instructions

1. After washing the sweet potato leaves, separate the leaves from the stems and drain them.

2. Heat a pot and add the oil. Once the oil is hot, add the ginger and fry for about 10 seconds. Then add the dried chilies, garlic, bean patty, sugar, and salt, and stir well.

3. Once it becomes fragrant, add the sweet potato leaves and stir-fry thoroughly.

4. After frying for about a minute, add about 2 tablespoons of cooking wine and fry for another 30 seconds.

After tasting for mild saltiness, your mouth-watering stir-fried sweet potato leaves with fermented bean patty is ready.

Enjoy it hot and delicious with rice.
