Hello everyone! This time, the dish I'd like to share is pork-stuffed fried potato pancakes.
Ingredients
- 5 or 6 potatoes (peeled)
- 1 large onion (peeled)
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon of sour cream
- A little salt and black pepper powder
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1.5 pounds of thinly sliced pork
Step-by-step method
1. Grate the potatoes and onion finely using a grater until they become shreds.
You can also grind them in a blender if you like. In that case, you'll need to cut the potatoes and onion into small chunks first.
Once you have the shredded potato and onion, remove about 5 tablespoons of the liquid from them.
After kneading the shredded potato and onion until well mixed, set aside about 1 tablespoon of the mixture separately.
2. Next, crack 1 egg into the shredded potato and onion mixture. Add the wheat flour, sour cream, a little salt and black pepper powder, and mix well until combined.
3. Place the thinly sliced pork into another bowl. Add a little salt and black pepper powder. Add the reserved 1 tablespoon of potato-onion mixture and mix well.
4. Next, prepare the pork into about 16 pieces of thin slices.
5. Once everything is ready, heat a pan and add 3 tablespoons of oil. When the oil is hot, add about 1 tablespoon of the potato mixture into the hot oil at a time. Then press it flat with a spoon. Place 1 slice of pork on top of that potato patty. Then top the pork slice with another tablespoon of the potato mixture and cover it.
After frying for about 4 minutes, flip it over to the other side and continue frying for another 4 minutes.
Continue frying the remaining potato mixture and pork slices in the same way.
Once everything is fried, you'll have delicious pork-stuffed fried potato pancakes ready!
