Hello everyone! This time, I'd like to share with you all a recipe for a non-spicy dish — stir-fried beef with fresh broccoli.
Ingredients
- About 1 viss of beef (thinly sliced)
- 2 tablespoons of rice flour
- 3 tablespoons of fish sauce
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 onion and 5 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)
- 1 tablespoon of thinly sliced ginger
- 1 head of fresh broccoli (cut into medium-sized pieces)
- A little bit of chili powder
- 250 ml of beef stock
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
Step-by-step instructions
1. Mix the thinly sliced beef with 1 tablespoon of rice flour and 2 tablespoons of fish sauce, and knead until well combined.
2. Heat a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil, and add the beef to stir-fry. Scoop the stir-fried beef into a plate. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan, then add the onion, garlic, and ginger, and stir well.
3. After about 3 minutes, add the fresh broccoli and continue stir-frying for another 3 minutes. Add the beef stock, 1 tablespoon of rice flour, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, brown sugar, and chili powder, then mix well and stir-fry.
4. After about 3 minutes, add the stir-fried beef back into the pan and stir-fry again. Once the meat and the vegetables are well mixed together, transfer to a plate, and you'll have a delicious dish to enjoy with rice.
