For those who love snacking on light, savory treats, here's a recipe for delicious Cheesy Egg Crepes that both kids and adults can enjoy. If you love cheese and eggs, you're sure to love this dish too. It's also fun to try making something new with the family every once in a while, isn't it?
First, to make the filling, add a little oil to a pot and put in some finely chopped shallots. Then add a little salt and stir for about 2 minutes.
When that's done, add 2 tablespoons of water, 1 teaspoon of masala, half a teaspoon of chili powder (for color), and half a teaspoon of cumin powder, then stir for about 2 minutes.
When that's done, crack in 2 eggs and stir again. Keep stirring for about 5 minutes. Then, add a little chopped spring onion and stir for another 2 minutes. Once done, turn off the heat and scoop it out.
Crack 1 egg into a bowl, add a little salt, and whisk it well. Then add 1 cup of ready-to-drink milk and whisk with a whisk.
Add 1 cup of wheat flour and whisk it in. Add 1 tablespoon of oil and whisk again.
Once everything is ready, brush a little oil onto the pan and pour in the batter you whisked.
Pour just the right amount and shape it into a thin round layer as shown in the picture. Flip it over on both sides. Once done, scoop it out onto a plate.
Once everything is done, take one of the cooked crepe layers and sprinkle a little Mozzarella Cheese on top. Then add a suitable amount of the egg filling we cooked earlier. Sprinkle more Mozzarella Cheese on top.
Then fold it into 4 folds as shown in the picture. Add a little oil to the pan and fry it. Flip it on both sides, and once it changes color, it's ready.
Once everything is fried, you can eat it dipped in your favorite sauce. And there you have it — delicious Cheesy Egg Crepes that both kids and adults can enjoy.
