Among all kinds of fried snacks, I think quite a lot of people prefer fried corn. So here's a fried corn recipe you can share and easily make at home with your family on a day off.

For a simple family recipe, cut 1 ear of corn into a bowl with a knife.

Put half a cup of wheat flour into a bowl. Add half a cup of corn flour, half a teaspoon of baking powder, and half a teaspoon of salt, then mix together. If you have black sesame, add 1 teaspoon and mix.

If you'd like a bit of spiciness, remove the seeds from one chili pepper, finely chop the flesh, and add it in, mixing well. Also add a small amount of finely chopped spring onion and mix.

Add about half a cup of ice-cold water and mix well.

Once well mixed, add it to the bowl with the corn you cut earlier and knead thoroughly to combine.

You'll need to pour a generous amount of oil into the pot. The frying will turn out well only when the mixture is fully submerged in oil. Scoop up the kneaded batter one heaping spoonful at a time and drop it into the hot oil to fry.

Once fried, drain the oil well and place onto a plate. Then you can dip it in some sauce or vinegar and enjoy it with a great taste. And there you have it — fried corn with that special homemade flavor, made by yourself.
