For those who love a sour and spicy flavor, this time I'd like to share a recipe for Tofu and Mushroom Spicy Stir-fry.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz mushroom (soak in water for about 30 minutes)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely sliced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon finely sliced ginger
  • 1 stalk spring onion
  • 1 pound tofu (bean curd)
  • 3 tablespoons crushed chili peppers

Step-by-step Instructions

1. Take the soaked mushroom out of the water, squeeze out the water completely, and slice it thinly.

2. Heat a pot over medium heat and add oil. When the oil is hot, add the mushroom and fry for about 8 minutes.

3. Add the ginger, garlic, and spring onion into the pot, stir evenly, and fry for about 4 minutes. Transfer the fried mushroom into a bowl and set it aside.

4. Add the crushed chili peppers into the pot and stir for about 1 minute. Return the mushroom to the pot, then add the water used earlier for soaking the mushroom. Reduce the heat and let it simmer until it comes to a boil.

5. Once it comes to a boil, add the tofu (bean curd) cut into square pieces into the pot and let it simmer for about one minute.

After that, remove from the stove, transfer to a plate, and it's ready to enjoy deliciously with rice.
