Hello everyone. Do you think ready-made tomato ketchup and tomato sauces are good for your health? Since those ready-made foods use chemical substances to last longer, they won't actually benefit your health.
That's why I want to share a simple and easy method for those who want to make their own fresh tomato paste at home.
Ingredients
- About 1.5 lb (1 ပေါင်ခွဲ) of fresh, ripe tomatoes
- 1 glass bottle
Step-by-step instructions
1. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into medium-sized pieces.
2. Put the cut tomatoes into a pot and heat them up. The heat will cause the tomato juice to come out. Let it cook until it starts boiling. (You'll also need to stir the tomato juice frequently.)
3. Once the tomatoes start boiling vigorously, remove the pot from the stove and let it cool down. Then put it into a blender and blend for a few minutes.
4. Next, use a strainer to pour the tomato paste into a bowl. This will remove the tomato seeds and pulp.
Pour the resulting tomato paste into a glass bottle. Now you have homemade tomato paste that you can use fresh when cooking.
