Hello everyone. I'd like to share a mixed vegetable fried rice recipe made with three main ingredients for vegetarians who avoid meat. Even without meat, let's learn together how to fry it with vegetables to make it delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1½ bowls of white rice (for one serving)
  • 1 bowl of small cubed carrots and green peas
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 1 stalk of spring onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

  • ½ tablespoon of oyster sauce
  • ½ tablespoon of oil
  • ½ tablespoon of cooking wine
  • ¼ teaspoon of sugar

Step-by-step instructions

1. In a large bowl, mix the rice evenly with soy sauce, oyster sauce, oil, and cooking wine.

2. Heat the wok and add oil. Once the oil is hot, add the egg and scramble it. Transfer the scrambled egg to a bowl.

3. Add a little more oil to the wok and stir-fry the green peas and carrots for about 1 minute.

4. Then add the mixed rice from step (1) and stir-fry for about 3 to 4 minutes.

5. Add the scrambled egg back into the wok and continue stir-frying for about 1 minute.

After tasting and adjusting the seasoning, add the spring onion and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.

Then transfer it to a serving bowl.

And there you have it — a delicious mixed vegetable fried rice. Enjoy it while it's hot and flavorful.
