- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
Step-by-step instructions
1. Heat a wok and add a small amount of oil. Once the oil is hot, add the carrots and mushrooms and stir-fry for about 4 to 6 minutes.
2. Add the broccoli, bell peppers, snow peas, water chestnuts, baby corn, and 2 tablespoons of water, and mix together.
3. After stir-frying for about 3 to 5 minutes, the vegetables will have softened. At that point, add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the salt and black pepper, then taste to check the seasoning.
4. In a bowl, combine the vegetable broth, soy sauce, and honey, and mix well. Pour this vegetable broth mixture into the wok and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
5. In another small bowl, mix the cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water until well combined. Add this cornstarch mixture into the wok and stir-fry for about a minute.
6. Once the sauce has thickened, you can remove it from the heat.
