Hello everyone. We've already shared a variety of recipes on MyFood Myanmar, including Korean dishes, Chinese dishes, and more. This time, I'd like to share the recipe for a Vietnamese-style dish, pork belly stir-fry.
Ingredients
- 4 slices of pork belly
- 2 stalks of lemongrass
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 clove garlic (thinly sliced)
- A little oil and a little spring onion
Step-by-step instructions
After finely slicing the lemongrass, put the fish sauce, vinegar, sugar, salt, ground black pepper, garlic, and lemongrass into a bowl and mix well until evenly combined. Add 1 tablespoon of water and mix again.
Pour the mixed marinade over the pork belly slices. Cover the plate with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Once 30 minutes have passed, heat a pan, add oil, and add the pork belly slices to fry.
Fry each side of the pork belly for about four minutes. Once the pork belly turns golden brown, pour the marinade that was prepared earlier into the pan. Continue frying until the sauce thickens.
Then, place the finished pork belly onto a plate of rice, sprinkle a little spring onion on top, and enjoy the delicious dish.
