Let's shape a pirate ship design that kids will love too.

First, cut the watermelon in half. Carve the edges so that it looks like a boat shape.

Using a spoon, scoop out the watermelon flesh into small balls.

For the small flag shapes, cut the watermelon rind into wave-like patterns.

Using toothpicks, skewer the watermelon pieces to form the flag shapes.

Place the watermelon balls and small grapes into the watermelon boat.

Stick the toothpicks on top of the watermelon boat, and you'll have your pirate ship watermelon ready!
