Hello everyone! While dieting, you have to avoid so many foods that it can really get discouraging. If you're tired of eating the same boiled dishes and salads every day and don't want to eat them anymore, then try cooking this easy, healthy, and tasty broccoli in oyster sauce dish that won't make you gain weight.
Ingredients
- 1 pack of broccoli
- 100 grams chicken bones
- 1 spoon baking soda
- 1 slice ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 spoons oyster sauce
- A pinch of salt
- 1 serving spoon of sesame oil
- 1 spoon brown sugar
- 1 spoon rice wine
- Water
Step-by-Step Instructions
(1) First, to make chicken broth, wash the chicken bones thoroughly, then put about 3 cups of water in a pot.
Add 1 clove of thinly sliced garlic and 1 slice of ginger, then boil for about 30 minutes. While the chicken bones are boiling, cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
(2) Next, in another pot, add about 2 cups of water along with 1 slice of ginger and bring it to a boil. Once the water is boiling, blanch the previously cut broccoli for about 3 minutes. When the time is up, drain the blanched broccoli using a strainer.
(3) Next, to prepare the oyster sauce, scoop out about 3 spoons of the chicken broth from the pot into a pan. Then add 2 spoons of oyster sauce, a pinch of salt, 1 spoon of brown sugar, and the rice wine, mix them together, and heat on the stove for about 3 minutes. Stir slowly, and once the oyster sauce mixture starts to boil and bubble up, you can turn off the heat.
(4) As the final step, arrange the blanched broccoli neatly on a plate. Then drizzle the previously prepared oyster sauce reduction over the top. Finally, if you sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the dish for garnish, you'll have a simple, easy, healthy, and appetizing broccoli in oyster sauce dish ready to enjoy.
