Salt – 1/2 teaspoon

Method

1. Put the mont let saung noodles into a large pot and soak them in water.

2. To make the palm sugar syrup, put the palm sugar into a pot with a little water and boil it over high heat.

3. Once it reaches a consistency that is neither too thick nor too thin, add a little salt, then pour it into a bowl and let it cool for a while.

4. Then, take a cup to serve the mont let saung in, add as much noodle as you like, pour in the palm sugar syrup to taste, and serve with ice cubes for a cool, refreshing drink.
